ARE authentically wild

every colour sourced from

nature to create art.

I harvest and extract liquid essences from a multitude of natural materials to create an ink and then I apply it to Indian Khadi paper which is made from 100% recycled cotton rag.

Every picture is completely unique and original each with it's own colouring and combination as the dyes flow together. It is impossible to make two that are the same, impossible for each one not to be entirely and wholly individual.

• wild inks • are part of the living Earth and are completely natural, constantly changing and crystallising and capturing a landscape.

Inks can be made from an almost limitless list of ingredients: trees, rocks, minerals, plants, vegetables, herbs and flowers.

Anything from anywhere you or I happen to be.

I am currently producing ink papers as art work in a range of sizes from the tiny A8 up to the very largest handmade rag papers sizes known as 'Atlas' (100 x 140cm) 'Banyan' (110 x 160 cm) and 'Great White' (80 x 200cm).

I also frame arrangements of A8 to A5 papers in which multiple papers are arranged within a single frame or a series of frames. Please see examples in the Commissions page.

My smaller works, A7, A6 and A5 are mail-able, an original artwork to send, and are packaged with an envelope in a clear bio-degradable, compostable sleeve made from corn starch.
